Segment of neural tree organ which consists of nerve fiber bundles aggregated to form a cable-like structure that branches off to different nerves; together with all nerves of the same tree constitutes a neural tree. Example: trunk of cranial nerve, trunk of spinal nerve, trunk of peripheral nerve.
