Posterior wall of the maxillary sinus bows anteriorly on a lateral radiograph or CT. Originally ascribed to juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma; may also result from fibrous hisitocytoma, schwannoma, or lymphoepithelioma of the retromaxillary region.
